The SealPro systems we install
Complete manufacturer-specified systems — what each one is, what it protects, and where we install it in Bloemfontein.
SealPro is a South African manufacturer of waterproofing products, roof paints, wall paints and speciality coatings. BloemGuard is an approved SealPro applicator: we install SealPro's specified systems in Bloemfontein, trained and accredited on each one.
A system is not a product. It is the full specified sequence for a surface — preparation, repair, primer, reinforcement, membrane and UV-stable topcoat, in the manufacturer's order. Skip a layer and the warranty logic collapses; install the sequence and the surface is protected as one engineered assembly.
ArmTec HyperFlex system
A fully bonded, seamless, reinforced waterproofing system built around a coated fibreglass mesh embedded with HyperFlex and protected with HydroSeal HF liquid rubber. The composition, in the manufacturer's order: a clean, sound surface; the correct primer — Penetrar on concrete, screed and tile surfaces, UltraBond WP on tiles, bitumen, torch-on and any sealed surface; ArmTec coated fibreglass reinforcing mesh shaped over the entire surface as the structural backbone; one coat of HyperFlex pressed through the mesh to lock it permanently to the primed substrate; and two coats of HydroSeal HF as the final seamless liquid rubber waterproof membrane — UV-stable, weather-resistant, no joints, no overlaps, no weak points.
One system, multiple substrates: new flat roof slab waterproofing, renewal over existing torch-on and bitumen, over-tile waterproofing, tile-ready balconies and wet areas, and waterproofed non-slip floor systems. We install every variant in Bloemfontein.
StretchSeal
Elastic reinforced waterproofing for tile and sheet-metal roofs, box gutters and cement surfaces. StretchSeal stretches with the roof's daily thermal movement instead of cracking over it — the property that matters most in a climate with twenty-degree day-night swings.
Where we install it: tile roof detailing, metal roof seams and fasteners, flashings, valleys and gutter linings.
RidgeSeal
The system that treats the most common source of tile roof leaks: deteriorated ridge bedding. Loose cement is raked out, every gap re-bedded with Posi Screed, primed with Penetrar, and then three RidgeSeal fibreglass reinforcement strips per ridge tile are embedded in HydroSeal HF and sealed under three coats. On Bloemfontein tile roofs older than twenty years, ridge renewal is the single highest-value waterproofing intervention.
Primers, paints and speciality products
Primers: UltraBond WP (the universal default — when in doubt, use it), Penetrar for porous cementitious surfaces, and Purple Prime on every metal roof without exception. The primer rule is absolute: wrong primer, failed bond, failed system.
Reinforcement: ArmTec Mesh across the full field surface, StretchSeal Membrane at every corner, joint, screwline and penetration, and Flex as the detail coat they embed into — never left exposed as a finish.
Topcoats: HydroSeal HF — the high-performance, polymer-blended liquid rubber coating that cures into a seamless rubberised waterproof membrane, minimum two coats on every system; and HyperFlex, the high-elongation embedding coat that locks ArmTec Mesh to the substrate.
Speciality: ScrewSeal patches for metal-roof screw heads, Posi Screed repair mortar for static gaps, CoolRoof heat-reflective finish, GripGuard non-slip with Clear Coat P2UD sealer, and DampEnd cementitious waterproofing.
